Earlier this week, the ‘Ipswich Rotary – Pride of Workmanship Awards’ took place in which the QAS had four personnel nominated from the West Moreton region.

These awards recognise ambulance staff who serve their community by displaying high standards of professionalism, significant acts of courtesy, kindness, understanding and courage, handling complex and difficult situations with humanity and demonstrating excellence in a particular role or task.

We’re so proud to announce that Patient Transport Officer Chris Mattock has won this coveted award!

He was fortunate enough to be awarded the title alongside his other colleagues nominated; paramedic Deb Walters, paramedic Marissa Stirrat and paramedic Sheridan Keevers at a local ceremony.

A huge congratulations to all the nominees and PTO Chris Mattock for displaying the attributes of a ‘Pride of Workmanship’ award.
